Apartment buildings with a charger for electric cars

Assessments and designs

A complete documentation package for electric-vehicle charging: an installation assessment, a design signed by an electrician with construction qualifications, and sign-off by a certified fire-safety expert. Ready for installation and inspections.

What does a good assessment look like?

A complete documentation package means an installation assessment, a design signed by an electrician with construction qualifications, and sign-off by a certified fire-safety expert — all fully compliant with regulations.

  1. Installation assessment

We assess the building’s electrical installation, the available power and the connection points. Where documentation is missing, we reconstruct the data from measurements.

  2. Installation design

We prepare the installation design for the chargers, signed by an electrician with construction qualifications.

  3. Fire-safety sign-off

The design is signed off by a certified fire-safety expert, in line with fire-safety requirements.

    *if required

  4. Complete documentation

You receive a complete set of documents ready for installation and inspections, with no rework during the project.

What does a professional assessment cover?

A professional assessment is the foundation for the safe installation of chargers in underground garages, community car parks and commercial buildings. We verify whether the existing electrical installation supports the current and future number of chargers, and propose specific, safe solutions.

  • Why is an assessment necessary?

    • An evaluation of the installation’s electrical and fire safety.
    • A check of the real technical capacity of the existing installation.
    • Several solution variants tailored to the specific building.
    • Avoiding unnecessary, costly installation rework.
  • What do we pay particular attention to?

    • Whether the garage hall supply is shared with the building or separate.
    • The available power reserve, especially with several or a dozen-plus chargers.
    • Whether the cabling and protection are suited to the sustained load of EV charging.
    • Fire-safety elements.
    • How energy is billed: a common-area meter (ADM) with sub-meters, tenant meters or a separate connection.
    • The ability to easily expand the installation in the future.
  • What if there is no electrical documentation?

    • An on-site installation survey: reconstructing the layout, listing the protective devices and assessing cross-sections.
    • Load measurements and measurements of selected protective parameters.
    • A schematic diagram of the installation that lets you plan the installation despite the lack of original drawings.
  • What do you receive after the assessment?

    • A description of the condition of the existing electrical installation.
    • Information on whether and to what extent charger installation is possible.
    • At least several solution variants, from simple to advanced.
    • A recommendation on how to bill energy (ADM, tenant meters or a separate connection).
    • An indication of the upgrades to carry out now or in the future.
    • A basis for deploying the Domena Power charger management system.
